Karl has overall responsibility for the management and strategic direction of Arena Options Limited. Karl has been at Arena for 12 years and started his career in our Foyer schemes and was previously Director of Supported Housing within Arena Options.
Mike has responsibility for service delivery across the five service areas in Arena Options. He ensures there is compliance across all operational areas against both internal and statutory regulation and funding requirements. He is also responsible for operational quality and the management of resources to deliver excellence. Mike has worked in Supported Housing for 21 years, with experience in supported housing, general needs housing and as a commissioner of services for a Local Authority.

Martin has responsibility for the management of Arena Options four Homeless Lodges, its Floating Support Services and the Agency Managed Schemes. Martin joined Arena Options in April 2008 having previously held management positions within other RSL’s and with Wigan and Leigh Learning Disability Team.
Sarah is responsible for our Older people’s Housing service. This encompasses 28 sheltered schemes and over 600 units of Category 1 accommodation.
Sarah joined the company back in 1994 and began her career as a Relief Sheltered Scheme Manager. Sarah then progressed through a number of posts including Scheme Manager, Lettings Officer, CSM, Homeless Lodge Team Leader and Lodge Operations Manager.
Emma is responsible for Young People’s Services, this service area comprises of 4 Foyers and 3 mother and baby projects in Wirral. Foyers are centres for young people aged 16-25. The Foyer model ensures that young people have the chance to progress and develop through the delivery of learning programmes and support plans. Emma came to Arena in 2006 from the Criminal Justice sector where she worked as a Youth Offending Team Manager.

Amanda is responsible for Retirement Living Services working in partnership with specialist care providers and local councils to provide quality accommodation for people aged 55 years and over. This encompasses two Retirement Villages and one Retirement Living Scheme. Amanda joined the company in 2002 and worked within Young Peoples Services for many years. Amanda recently spent some time working within Arena Group as the Business Improvement Manager and returned to Arena Options in January 2010.

As Head of Housing With Care Services Paul has responsibility for all Arena Options Older Peoples Housing where we also deliver the care. This comprises of four extra care schemes (Anfield, Huyton, Netherton and Old Swan) and three residential care homes (Hough Green, Netherton and Thatto Heath). Although new to the company Paul has 20 years experience in social housing.
